About this unit
Northwest Gunnison and east Montrose counties wrapping Sapinero Mesa and the north side of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Pinyon-juniper and oakbrush benches step up through aspen to spruce-fir on the mesa top. Mix of GMUG National Forest, BLM, and Curecanti NRA with private ranch ground.
