Tentrr State Park Site - Louisiana Fontainebleau State Park - Teepee Field B - Single Camp

This is the sunniest Tentrr site in Fontainebleau State Park, and is conveniently located in the heart of the park. Though this site offers the least seclusion, it is located in close proximity to sites A and C, making it perfect for groups who wish to reserve multiple sites at once. It is also a great site for campers traveling with kids, as it features plenty of open grassy space for running and playing lawn games. Its proximity to the Splash Pad cannot be beat! Located on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain only one hour from New Orleans, Fontainebleau State Park was once the site of a sugar cane plantation. Today, Fontainebleau State Park offers 2800 acres for campers to enjoy and explore. Fontainebleau is surrounded by water on 3 sides and provides countless options for activities, including fishing, boating, swimming and sunbathing on the sandy beach of Lake Pontchartrain. There are nature trails to hike and explore - keep your eyes open for the many different types of birds who make their homes in the park! There is an old railroad track that has been converted into the Tammany Trace by the Rails to Trails program, which serves as an excellent path for biking, walking or inline skating. The site is equipped with a pre-set sturdy canvas tent on its own wooden deck platform. The tent is furnished with a queen-size memory foam mattress and side tables. A picnic table, fire pit with a grill, a solar shower, and portable camp loo are also provided, and campers are able to use the park's restroom facilities as well. No Mosquito netting available The Space: Lakefront park with beach and trails Other Things to Note: - Pack your own food, water, firewood, bedding, bug spray and flashlights - There is no electricity, AC, or heater at your Tentrr site, pack accordingly - Anything you pack in, you must pack out. This is "leave no trace" camping and all sites will be inspected for cleanliness and damages before the next camper - All trash MUST be deposited in the designated trash receptacle that is labeled on the map.Please notes : If you do not follow this rule, you will be charged a cleaning fee of at least $50 - Pets are allowed. Please keep all pets on leashes(we recommend 6 ft), and DO NOT let your pets near or swim in any bodies of water. - Please remember to respect and keep your distance from our wildlife in the park.
