South Marcum Campground

This Army Corps of Engineers campground at Rend Lake offers 14 tent sites and 147 sites with both electric and full hook-up options. All near drinking water, a dump station, restrooms, showers, a boat ramp & a picnic shelter. These campsites are on the shores of beautiful Rend Lake in the heart of Southern Illinois. Long term reservations are available in the Beaver Lodge and Whispering Pines loops. Covey Point offers double standard sites and Whispering Pines offers double premium sites. Stop by the U. S. Electric hookups are provided at all Recreational Vehicle sites. The campground offers a dump station, hot showers, flush toilets, and drinking water in order to provide a comfortable camping experience for guests. A playground is also conveniently located within the Whispering Pines camping loop near the shower house.
