About
The King Mountain Recreation Area has 12,000 acres. The area has beautiful scenery and is an excellent place to view wildlife. It is possible to go hiking, horseback riding, hunting, and camping in an uncrowded area. The area is busy during hunting season. Please contact the Colorado River Field Office if you have any questions.
