Golden Beach Campground

Located next to Raquone Lake is the campsite Golden Beach Campground, which serves as an ideal place to relax in the mountains. It takes more than one boating trip on Raquette Lake for one to see and fish some of the various fish species, like lake trout and small mouth bass. Legislators permit motorboats, rowboats and Canoes. It's a shallow boat launch available for canoes and small boats. Golden beach is a natural beach with huge expanse of land for swimming. Lifeguards that are on duty will let Swimming be part of it's function. Our picnic area is situated on the edge of the sand, and it can be accessed with your picnic basket.
