Blacktail Creek Campground

There are 8 wide open campsites in the middle of the towns of Khrenmling and Yampa, CO. The camping area is located on the highway and has easy access to travelers and passing passengers. Facilities have drinking water and a vault toilet during the summer months. There is a picnic table and a fire grate at each site. The campground has been impacted by the Mountain Pine Beetle, however many young Aspen trees remain. The views from here are mostly young trees, because the campground sits very low along the highway.
