About This Trail
The hike has canyon views, waterfall, wildflowers, and ruins. Visitors come to see the springtime wildflowers at Scott's Run. There are some rare and fragile plants growing on the steep hillsides. There are many fascinating and rare trees along the cliffs and in the hardwood forest, and many of which are as tall as the oaks. The nature preserve is 4 miles northwest of Washington and has a mixture of flowers and trees. it's a good sanctuary for songbirds
