About This Trail
The portion of the trail from Tesnatee Gap to Wolf Laurel Top is west over Cow Rock Mountain. The initial section out of Tesnatee Gap is steep but then flattens out and there is a moderate climb up Cow Rock Mountain. The trail is moderate after crossing the ridge line between Cow Rock and Wolf Laurel Top. There is a campsite on top of Wolf Laurel Top. There is a reliable water source half way between Cow Rock and Wolf Laurel Top and a less reliable one about a ten minute hike past Wolf Laurel Top to the West.
