About This Trail
The trail leads through an old-growth forest to a viewpoint. The trail goes through a forest dominated by cedars and hemlocks to an overlook of Weeks Falls. The power plant located on the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River uses the energy of the cascades to generate electricity. The plant is only opened when there is more water in the river than the fish need to reproduce. A sign shows the layout of the plant.
