Warren Dunes Beach Trail

Forested dunes give way to open sandy beaches. The Warren Dunes State Park is a large expanse of forested sand dunes. It's an interesting environment with small ponds held back within the dunes and constantly shifting open sand on the beach. Private property has the south side beach. The wind is always looking to purchase sand to move it to the other side of the beach. The sand is blown inland when the dunes are breached.
