About This Trail
This trail requires a back country permit through April 15th. The hike starts with a gentle climb. On the other side of the hill, the trail opens up and you can go downhill on the meadow. The trail has a few forks, but always take the Trail marked fork. The trail goes through the forest and crosses under power lines to reach a large boulder with a plaque. The cabin of Ludwig Veit was used for cattle and sheep operations. The trail makes a loop, but you can return on the same route.
