About This Trail
The Turtle Valley and Kettle Moraine are covered in rolling hills. There is a lot to see and do on this long loop between Whitewater, WI and Delavan, WI. This is a moderate outing with rolling hills. The Kettle Morain State Park has 20,000 acres of glaciers, kettles, lakes, pine woods and hardwood forests. It is home to the statewide Ice Age trail, Old World Wisconsin and the largest wet prairie east of the Mississippi River. The ride goes around Turtle Valley, which is bordered by Whitewater, Wis. on the north and Delavan on the south. Turtle Valley is home to the Wisconsin School for the Blind. The Turtle Valley was home to many settlers and many wintering circuses.
