About This Trail
The first and last sections of the hike are through the woods of the rolling Piedmont terrain, while the middle section follows the bank of the South Branch Quantico Creek. There are many spots along the stream where there are beavers. The indiscriminately felled trees and pointed stumps are sure signs that they are nearby.
