About This Trail
The park is open for use of hiking trails or biking on designated roads, but all roads and parking areas are closed to motor vehicle traffic. You can go to the Pyrite Mine ruins and see some waterfalls, wildlife and a hike. Put on the bathing suit and float away on the river. The trail starts out with small steep sections. The trail gets muddy after rains so bring a hiking stick and bug spray. Most of the hike is along a river. You can see and explore ruins along the Pyrite mine section of the trail.
