About This Trail

Imported description

The gate can be closed by the weather, which can shorten the trail by more than one mile. I quote a loop trail past Tumalo Falls, Doulble Falls and Upper Falls. There's a short trail to the top of Tumalo Falls, which can be reached by taking a few steps to the parking lot. The tallest waterfall in Central Oregon is the 89 foot tumble over Tumalo Creek. 25 years ago there was a forest fire around the falls. People can easily access the views at both the top and the base of the falls. It is possible to go beyond Tumalo Falls to Double Falls. People stop and then turn around. If you continue, you will see many waterfalls but you won't be able to cross the creek. You will go across the creek when you Ford it. You are not allowed to camp inside the Watershed.
