About This Trail
There is a secluded arch behind the Klondike Bluffs. The trail is only over 100 feet in elevation, but constant up-and-down means a lot more than that. It is suggested that visitors bring plenty of water, as this is out in the middle of nowhere, with extremely light traffic. The monument known as the Marching Men is located just a little over half way between the beginning of the trail and Tower Arch. The Marching Men are a group of tall towers that stand on top of a fin of sandstone. The arch is big, but it is not the largest in the park. Tower Arch's awe-inspiring immensity comes from its large size as well as its depth and presence. It is an arch that is heavy, intimidating, and defiant.
