The Tony Knowles Coastal Trail is one of the gems of Alaska. Start your trip downtown and then travel to Kincaid Park. This is a beautiful stroll. The trail is open to all, meaning it is a good place to go for a walk. Dogs must be kept on-leash, but expect to run into off-leash dogs.
