About This Trail

A great loop hike takes you along the shore of Lake George and over 3 small peaks on the Tongue Mountain Range. The southern trailhead is ClayMeadows next to a quarry. You can take a trail around the shore of the lake to Montcalm Point, where you can see the Narrrows. You will gradually ascend the southern end of the Tongue Range over 3 nice peaks with great views over the lake below.
