About This Trail

Imported description
The hike is along the mountain range that juts into Lake George. Go from the parking lot to the blue trail. At around three and a half miles there is an intersection. Deer Leap can be found under a mile on the yellow trail. The blue trail goes left at the intersection and climbs to the top of Brown mountain. You reach a lean-to somewhere in another mile or so. The shelter is a mile from the summit of Five Mile mountain. The trail skirts around a true summit and there are view points to the east and west.
