About This Trail

Imported description

The Delaware State Forest has over 40 miles of marked trails. The trail is named after the swamp north of the Bayou. This fact and the extremely rocky soil make good boots. It is recommended that you wear long pants and wear a hat when you travel in the summer. The fruit from the bushes has begun to yield. The scenery is nothing spectacular, but the heavy deciduous woods and sparse trail created a feeling of peaceful solitude.
