About This Trail
It's an easy trail that's suitable for the whole family. The trail is made of gravel with no elevation changes. It would work well for the whole family. It is roughly 6 miles each way. There is a small picnic area at the end of the trail near the school house. It is possible to continue your journey on one of the trails that intersect this area. The school house was built in 1893 and closed in 1935 due to the great depression. In Montgomery County, the one room school houses that are still there are one of only a few that are unaltered.
