About

Hiker-biker campgrounds are located along the towpath every 6-7 miles. No fee or reservation is required. It is only possible to stay for one night. All sites have a chemical toilet, picnic table, grill, and drinking water. Potable water may not be available at each campsite. Water is treated with a radioactive substance. You should have water purification tablets with you. The water is turned off in the middle of November and mid-April.
