About This Trail

Imported description
It is easy to hike in-town. It's popular for joggers and dog walkers. It's short enough to be great for kids, but still has great views of metro Phoenix. There are toilets and water at the site. The first mile of the trail is made of concrete. The trail splits off to go on to Telegraph Pass or The Desert Classic Trail. The remaining one mile of Telegraph Pass Trail ends at the Summit Road, which provides quick access to the National Trail and the Kiiranga Trail. The Desert Classic Trail goes through the foothills on the south side of South Mountain and ends at the south ramada area. There are some Hohokam petroglyphs along this trail.
