The parking lot is at Penwood State Forest. The Metacomet Trail leads to the Heublin Tower/Talcott Mt summit. The Metacomet Trail goes down the Talcott Mt ridge to the north. The blue/red Metacomet Bypass Trail joins the trail. Return north on the Bypass Trail to the Metacomet.
