About This Trail
The road is currently closed due to rockslides. It is possible to walk a mile up the road to the trailhead. A local resident who does this hike on a regular basis says it's not at all clear when Cal Trans will open this road to get to the closer. It has been closed for several months and the road has been closed for several years due to damage. It is a 9.2 mile hike from the village to the fire road. You will not need an adventure pass if you park on "downtown streets" as of now.
