About This Trail
The point to the pooint trail was great. The route is a bit more challenging. Good elevation gain in a short distance. Rock obstacles and swampes give a good range for driving challenges. It is a must to stop at the sumit overlooking Caples Lake. The strawberry pass is a scenic trail. The trail is usually run from the North, which allows you to climb up from the pass. The outhern half of the trail is easy to moderate. There are only two obstacles on the trail. The first being a squeeze between a tree and rock. The squeeze can be negotiated by a stock vehicle and a large flat stone has been moved.
