About This Trail

This is a gem of the Southern Adirondacks. It shares a trail with Kane Mountain. The trail is easy to follow. It is a great way to see two lakes. Stewart Lake can be seen from the trail at about 1 mile into the hike. The shoreline of Stewart Lake is easy to access if you bring something similar. Indian Lake is one of the most peaceful spots in the Southern Adirondacks. The trail ends at the shore. If you want to go for a swim, you could easily dip your feet in. It's a great way to spend time when other trails are busy. This is a great hike for people who want to do a longer hike.
