About This Trail
There is a path in Maine that leads to Highland Lake and Long Lake. The trail goes through the city past some historic and scenic areas. It is easy to moderate the terrain of the Stevens brook trail. It's recommended that hikers wear sneakers for most trail sections. Long pants are recommended because poison ivy can grow in some areas. The section that is flooded because of the river trail is in the Stevens brook.
