About This Trail
The Split Oak Forest is located in south Orange and north Osceola counties. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission has a park called Split Oak Forest. The Florida Communities Trust, Orange County, and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission collaborated to purchase Split Oak in 1994. The previous owners of the area were responsible for cattle and forest resources.
