About This Trail
If you want to go camping, this is a nice park to go to. The hiking is not so great. There is a nature trail on the property. You can head into Split Oak Forest after taking the swamp trail that shares a trail with this hike. The property was used to make turpentine from pine trees. You can still see the evidence of the collection process. Some of the older trees have scars from the collection process.
