About This Trail
The Visitor Facilities are closed during the winter. The fee booth, flush toilets, water and information center are all closed this winter. The park's road, all trails, overlooks, picnic area, and a vault toilet are still accessible to visitors. It is a nice reprieve from the heat found at Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon at Cedar Breaks National Monument. The Ramparts Trail and Alpine Pond Trail are only two trails that Cedar Breaks has to offer. The trail begins at the end of the Bristlecone pine trees. It is more difficult on the 2 mile trail than the moderate portion due to its steep nature.
