This page contains a route used by one hiker to travel to South Franklin Mountain. A hiker passing the popular place will then return the opposite way to the car. A person can also choose toend their hike in this way, as it intersects the southern part of the Ron Coleman Trail. The hike can start at the canyon and go north into the wilderness with the Ron Coleman Trail. You could just do it in a different way - as an I-90 exit or as a point- TO-PIT.
