About This Trail
The hike is mostly in the shade but well defined. People and dogs can fit on the trail but horses can't. The trail is not easy, but you don't have to give up on seeing Silver Lake. It's a winter weather lake, and you think that getting in would be refreshing. It's possible to continued onto Twin Lakes as far as they wanted with a more significant elevation gain.
