About This Trail

Imported description
Scott's Branch Trail is a paved trail from Chapel Hill Road to Bonnie View Nature Sanctuary at 3300 Rollins Road and passes through Dublin Park. Portions of the trail are heavily wooded while others border prairie restoration habitat. Much of the trail borders residential property on one side. Dogs on a 4' leash are allowed on the part of the trail from the parking lot at Rollins Road to Cunningham Road (at the parking lot for Columbia Audubon Nature Sanctuary). Dogs are not allowed on the trail that borders the Columbia Audubon Nature Sanctuary, not even on a 4' leash. People with dogs must leave the trail and walk onto Cunningham Road, turn right onto Bray Avenue, left onto Dublin Avenue and access the trail again in Dublin Park. At that point, dogs on a 4' leash are allowed on the trail if turning left to walk to Chapel Hill Road and turning right into Dublin Park. From that point the elevated boardwalk through Dublin Park ends at the Columbia Audubon Nature Sanctuary where dogs are not allowed, even on a leash. Bikes can use most of Scott's Branch Trail but bikes must be walked along the elevated boardwalk in Dublin Park.
