About This Trail
The Scoby Dam is a hydroelectric dam. The dam is 30 feet in height and 182 feet in width. It supplied electricity to the village from 1924 to 1996. The area became an Erie County park in 2001. The park is located along the bank of Cattaraugus Creek. The park is a popular place for hiking and fishing. The picnic tables are north of the dam.
