About This Trail

Imported description

The South Trail is a nice moderate hike to get to from Ashfield Road. This makes for a 4 mile hike. The lollipop is out and back, a little over a mile in along the AT in a wooded setting. It leads to a mile of exposed rocky trail with constant views to the north and south of the Mountain. The South Trail rejoins the AT after 1.1 miles, and you can take a left on the Appalachian Trail to get to Ashfield Road.
