Rancho Corral de Tierra is the newest addition to the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. The trail leads to the summit of Scarper Peak, which is still an active FAA station. This is a great way to get to the protected area, and it is also a great way to get to the private land. Do not extend HIKE by going down a peak road. It is FAA property that leads to private property.
