Ruth Bascom Willamette Riverbank Path

This is a paved path on the other side of the river. You can enter the trail system from the parking lot. Visitors will be in the shade for most of the hike and they will see the river and the milage markers. This trail system is popular with bikers, joggers, skateboarders, etc. It is possible to cross the river at the Ferry Street bridge and head down the south side of the river. You can take a right onto the bike bridge to go back over the river to your car.
