About This Trail

It is the North entrance to the preserve path that connects the preserve trail to the other trails. It is a small fragment of a larger trail system. A beautiful undulating promenade weaves through a wetlands leads to a well marked trail. It's been reported that there is a 262 foot change in elevation. The animals of this wildlife preserve will be seen, and dogs must be kept on a leash. The wetlands have snakes and fish as well. This preserve is a nice place to visit if you want an afternoon excursion to the nearby yellow barn forest or the old 600 natural area. You will reach it at the end of the main trail. You can enter the trail loop if you go a short distance from the road.
