About This Trail

Imported description
Easy trail on gentle terrain along highway 67, good warm up snowshoe path From the parking lot go through the access gate on the South end of the parking lot. Follow it east on a paved path for a short distance. After about 50 yards there will be a trail on the left that is fairly well worn. Take this path. Along the way there are several little paths leading off to either side, but stay on the main path heading North. After about a mile into the trail it joins up with a forest service access road (barely used anymore). Follow this road to the gate that will lead you back to the paved path next to highway 67. This is Centennial trail. Turn left and head back South on Centennial trail until you reach the parking lot once again. This trail is not very exciting, but would provide a good trail to get used to snowshoeing, since you can easily bail out and get on Centennial trail at any time. It stays fairly close to highway 67 as well so there is always a bit of road noise. Fortunately Highway 67 isn't too busy of a highway yet.
