About This Trail

It's a great trip when you go up in the mountains. You can see the San Juan Wilderness and the CDT. It's what you think about when you say Colorado goes through Mtn meadow and then through Ponderosa pine to get to timberline. The first 4 miles are all gone. You'll gain 2000 feet in elevation in a few minutes. It shouldn't be a problem if you're careful and careful only in certain places.
