You may need a parking pass to park at Jackson's Cove, because there is limited parking on Fiddlehead Rd. The trail has nice views of the lake and streams and is marked with blue blazes. You will have to cross some streams. Pomperaug Trail is from Jackson's Cove to Fiddlehead Road.

The Kettletown Trails are a 4.6-mile (7.4 km) Blue-Blazed hiking trail "system" in the lower Housatonic River valley in Fairfield County. They are in the towns of Southbury and Oxford—primarily in the Kettletown State Park and the Jackson Cove recreation area belonging to the town of Oxford.
