About This Trail
The vista has an observation deck, a forest and terrain. There are many side trails in the Lackawanna State Forest's Pinchot Trail system. Bring proper footwear because there are several wet spots and a few rocky areas. There are a few trails that pass through private land. Please respect the rights of local property owners. The lookout tower on top of Big Pine Hill can be reached by road, so expect to have company during the weekend. The Pinchot Trail is blue, but most of the blue blazes have been painted over in Orange.
