About This Trail

Imported description
The trail begins at Glacier Highway and ends at a cabin. There are some slippery segments in this trail. The first 2 miles follows the alignment of an old mining tram built almost a century ago. After the trail goes through the mining tram it splits into two parts, going through the forest after. The trail has exposed roots and rocks, that is eroded and not paved in. The trail runs along the last mile of the lake and it may be slightly flooded during high tides. It can be done in about 2.5 - 3 hours with at least a overnight pack.
