About This Trail
The hike on the Appalachian Trail to reach the top of Peters mountain is very nice. The trail starts at the railroad tracks and climbs up. You can see the river below if you skirt the side of the mountain. It will start to flatten out once you get so far up. The trail starts to get steep as you near the edge of the mountain. You will see a few vistas near the summit. The trail continues north from here. Look for the white blazes.
