Peak Mountain via Metacomet Trail

Peak Mountain is a traprock that is located in East Granby. The trail goes after the ridge of the mountain and provides a great view. It is part of a trail and there are places to park at either end. You'll see the trail rise steeply and then fall as you reach the ridge. There is a first place to stop to take in the view, which is quieter than the rest of the trail. It's interesting, there are great views and it's not crowded. That is a great description for dogs.
