About This Trail

The trail is only open during the open days. Please refer to the Preserve's website for the dates of volunteer and attendance events. You can hike up Tobe Gap Road. You should go to the tank. This is the beginning of the route. The route follows the right side of a ridge. It's best to keep to the left of the rock ledges on the east arm of the mountain. The summit is over two knolls. There are mostly rock outcroppings. There are good views of Mescalero.
