Occoquan Bay Wildlife Refuge Loop

Areas of this refuge can be closed sometimes for the purpose of caring for bald eagles. To get more information, please call ahead. The area used to have old patrol routes that were used to establish the trail system. The parts are not easy to carry in strollers or wheelchairs. Pets aren't allowed in the refuge. This area is used by bird watchers and it is quieter than the local area. The facility is currently closed on Sundays and Thursdays.
