About This Trail
A long trail is the most popular in Oak Mountain State Park. The longest park trail is the Red Trail. The trail begins at the North Trailhead and goes up to one of the top points in the park. The view from the top of the mountain is rewarding. The trail is mostly used by bikers and hikers. The mountain bikes travel at a high rate of speed. From scenic overlooks to rocky hills and peaceful flat terrain the trail has it all. You'll cross 24 bridges during your hike. The staff at Oak Mtn State Park maintain the trail. The plan is to spend an entire day on the hike.
