The lakes and the woodlands have 3 miles of trails circling them. There are 3 miles of trails that surround the lakes and the adjacent woods. The trail also has a boardwalk and scenic overlooks. There is a trail through an oak grove. There are restorations and improved fish habitats in Nippersink. The angler can fish from a beach or from a couple of fishing piers. The lakes and streams are not open for fishing, but only for catch and release. Live bait is allowed. Four of the picnic shelters may be reserved for special outings. Gatherings of more than 25 people need a permit.
